How did your home service business make it during the Covid-19 lockdowns back in March 2020?
In a response to help other businesses, four women, who run service companies, decided to band together to form Fight Club 4 Business during the start of Covid-19 sheltering-in-place. The club meets every Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. EST on Facebook.
What Is Fight Club 4 Business?
The group started by serving as a business group to motivate other home service business owners to use the time in April to fight for the survival of their businesses. The Facebook group met despite the uncertain economy and continued concerns surrounding Covid-19.
Fight Club 4 Business had its first Facebook Live meeting on Tuesday, April 6, 2020. The founders of Fight Club 4 Business include
- Michelle Myers, the owner of Pink Callers, who runs the system and operations part of the group
- Martha Woodward, the owner of Dusting Divas and Quality Driven, leads the group with culture and recruiting
- Meaghan Likes, the owner of Likes Accounting Company, Bookkeeping Academy Online, and Jeff Likes Clean Windows & Gutters, Inc., speaks about bookkeeping and finances
- Taylor Meroni, the owner of Pure Power Washing, talks about marketing and social media.
These women business owners focus on giving, serving, and educating during their Facebook Live videos that occur weekly. The ladies share their tricks and tips that they’ve learned with their combined business experience.
Michelle Myers explains, “FC4B was a result of what we saw as a need in the space of coaching/guidance and conversation.”
“We felt that many people were in the fight of their lives for their businesses, and we wanted to join them in that fight. The professional relationships that we have made in the partnership were easy ones,” says Michelle.
Super Guests
Michelle states that the group has between 800 and 1,000 views weekly on average with a growing audience due in part to their super guests. Super Guests have included:

- Royce Ard, owner of My Amazing Maid Professional Cleaning Service
- Dan Platta, owner of Blue Skies Services
- Jeremiah Green of Green Pro Services
- Dominique Williams, owner of C & C Cleaning Services and HireWho.
These guest speakers own companies in the home services field as well, and they share techniques and tips that help other home service companies improve their systems.
“Feedback is super, accountability, and having experts as a quick resource has been the differentiator,” says Michelle.
Fight Club 4 Business’s First Retreat in Breckenridge, CO
In under six months, Fight Club has grown large enough to host its first retreat from October 1 through October 3, 2020. This retreat has a website dedicated for sign-ups.
